I love the motion blur effect at the hand. It just highlighted the right theme of the image. Did you edit it afterwards or use filter when taking the picture? It seems like being taken with LOMO effect:P
it might look nicer to me to have the person's face in focus. It's hard to reach this by just one photo due to slow shutter speed though. Michael suggested taking a number of images at high and slow shutter speeds and combine them in post-production, keeping the head in focus and meanwhile the hand blurred. Maybe it's worth trying:)
