Martin Parr's ideas

For my final piece I have based my work around Martin Parr's idea of taking photos on the beach and saturating the colours, especially of people.

My first idea would be the work of Mary Ellen Mark. Her work offers a different perspective on such societal concerns as homelessness, drug addiction, mental illness and teenage pregnancy.

A picture which interest me

This motion blurred picture interests me as it reminds me of the nightlife of London which is a place that I enjoy going to. The 'red' colour of the bus and telephone box symbolise London as these are found all over and as it is is quite a vibrant colour is also symbolises the excitement and business of London.
